| So i just switched cell phone carriers from Verizon to Sprint and i chose the new 4G HTC EVO phone. Im not real sure of everything that the iphone can do, however im told they are similar except this runs on the Android operating system. All i can say though is WOW, This phone is amazing and can do sooo much. The only downside i have found is the battery life but I am figuring out ways to save the battery. Cant wait for 4g in this area now lol. | |

| I've heard good things about the Android phones. I bet 4G will be awesome. Battery on all these smart phones drain fast though especially if your surfing the net and watching videos... | |

| I have figured out a few ways to save the battery. By turning off the GPS which would run constantly it saves alot of battery. Plus you can download a Task killer that closes out all the apps currently running and it seems to save alot of battery as well. I need to figure out how to get some movies on this phone going. | |

| Android is badass. It's what me and 187 both use. Much more customizable than the iphone. You can install all sorts of widgets, live wallpapers, scrollable widgets, customize your shortcuts/icons etc. If you root your phone, you can flash custom roms. I'm using Cyanogen 6.0 on mine. http://theunlockr.com/how-tos/android-how-tos/ this website shows you how to root your phone, as well as, how to unroot it if you have to send it back for warranty service. http://forum.cyanogenmod.com/ you can get Cyanogen here. | |

| Ok Nevermind it looks like you can get it for free with a root. Only thing I'm curious about now is hat if I root my phone can Sprint tell if its rooted or not? If something happens to it I will most likely say it got stolen or something anyways. Just don't want them calling me up saying we know your rooted and we are gonna sue you or something. | |
